Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina’s (UFSC) interests are in Languages and Identities, focusing on Languages, Identities, Literature, Education, Human Rights, Gender, Coloniality and Decoloniality, Ecological Theories, and Local and Global Communities.
The scholar will develop research and also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues at Universidade de Brasília (UnB), Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), Universidade Federal de Minhas Gerais (UFMG), and Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). These four universities constitute the Fulbright Interdisciplinary Network (FIN) along with UFSC.
FIN is an initiative by the U.S. Embassy and the Fulbright Commission in Brazil to promote joint studies of the United States among Brazilian and U.S. academics and researchers.
